Those precious first days with your newborn are filled with transition, beauty, and fleeting moments you’ll want to remember forever. As a mother of five, I know firsthand how quickly this time passes, which is why capturing it is so important.
What to Expect from Your Newborn Session
Newborn sessions are best scheduled when your baby is 5 to 10 days old but can be done up to 3 months of age. These sessions are focused on your family’s connection and love—filled with cuddles, snuggles, and meaningful moments.
Sessions typically last 1 to 3 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, comforting, and capturing those perfect shots. Individual photos of your baby will be included, but the heart of these sessions is your family’s bond with your newest addition.
Where Sessions Take Place
Newborn sessions are held in my cozy natural-light studio in Minden, Nebraska, designed to make you feel at ease. I also offer in-home sessions (travel fee may apply).

Preparing for Your Session
Before your session, you’ll receive a questionnaire to help me tailor the experience to your family’s unique needs. During the session, I’ll guide you through poses and prompts to create natural, authentic images. My sessions are family-focused—no props, just your family’s love and connection. Parents and siblings are encouraged to participate. I have a small play area for little ones to stay entertained while they are not being photographed.
If your baby gets fussy, don’t worry—we’ll keep the environment calm and relaxed. My goal is to make this experience enjoyable and stress-free for your family.

I always have snacks and coffee for you to enjoy and a play area for your little ones. You can just sit back and relax.
I will help take on some of the hassle of dressing your family, with my growing collection of designer gowns, children’s clothing, baby wraps, headbands, and accessories.

Styling is an essential element in making your photos into a work of art.
All sessions include complimentary access to my growing client closet as well as access to an online styling tool that helps you curate a cohesive and stylish wardrobe. My hope is to help take on some of the overwhelm and cost out of styling your family.
